First Swim Meet of the Summer

Summer is in full force down here in AZ and the girls have been enjoying their favorite summer time activity. SWIM TEAM!! On Thursday June 11th they had their first swim meet of the season. It was the Freestyle meet.

I just missed getting Pics of Carly's Race but we did get video. But here she is with her winnings. 2nd Place Ribbon! Carly did Awesome! We are so proud of her!

It is Kaitlyn's turn to race. She is right in the middle in the purple suit.

This race was a close one! Leonard got great video of it too. All these girls are tough swimmers.

In the end our superstar came in 2nd place. She barely missed placing 1st! Great Job Kaitlyn!

This meet was THE MOST CROWED meet we have ever attended. It was crazy the amount of people crammed into one small space. It was hard to get good pics of all the action. The pics I got of Carly's 2nd race were all too dark. Do you notice it is DARK outside. It was also the LONGEST swim meet ever! The girls had to be at the meet at 4:45pm for warm ups and we didn't leave til almost 8:45pm. It was nuts! And to make things crazier, we were leaving on our road trip the next morning at 5 am. I only got 2 hours of sleep before we left. but it was worth it being there to support our SUPERSTAR swimmers in their first meet!
