This is the Sweetest Grandma of them all. Grandma Byron Warner. This is Leonard's Grandma but I claim her as my own. It has been too long since we have visited. I was so happy she let us come and stay. She fed us breakfast, had goodies waiting for us and lots of hugs and kisses.
Grandma Warner and her Great Grandchildren. Kaitlyn, Carly & Blake

We can't forget about Grandpa Chet. We love him too. We found out while visiting that Grandma & Chet just recently celebrated 8 years of marriage. Chet is a wonderful man and takes great care of Grandma.

Grandma & Chet spoiled the kids with a box full of treasures and toys to play with. They all especially LOVED this awesome marble game that Chet made. In fact Leonard played with this toy when he was a young boy. Pretty cool. Blake was a pretty big stinker about sharing the marbles for the marble game. Grrrrr!

Kaitlyn & Blake explored Grandma & Chet's beautiful backyard. I love their flower garden. So pretty!

I captured Leonard & Grandma's visit. I sure miss her. Leonard and I lived with Grandma when we were newlyweds. We set up our home in her basement for 4 months while we got settled and then moved to Rexburg, ID while Leonard finished school. We would always come and visit and I got to know and love this sweet lady! She loves her family so much and is tickled pink when anyone comes to visit. It was such a treat!
Oh Grandma, now you are really spoiling these already spoiled kids. She gave them each a toy bird. They were so excited. These birds tweet and chirp when you squeeze them. Thanks Grandma :) The birds had to have many "naps" while on the road. But the kids love them and I am sure they will always remember her sweetness.
I love this pic of Lenny & Grandma. Can't you just feel the love in this picture as she gazes lovingly to her "favorite" ;) Grandson. You all know Leonard is the favorite ;) hee hee hee!
All Smiles!
Man, we are gonna miss her and we can't wait to visit again. Hopefully next years Road Trip.
One last shot in front of Grandma's House. You can kinda see her peeking outside the window. Goodbyes are always hard and I couldn't think about it too much because I'd start crying. I really do love this lady. I have so many wonderful memories here at her home. Idaho Falls will always hold a special place in my heart thanks to Grandma Byron Warner. We will miss you!

These pictures made me smile...I miss living by grandma and chet too! The photos of your family with grandma were really cute. I love all the recent posts, I've been MIA as far as blogging goes, but I had to check yours out today.
I love Great-grandmas. They are so sweet and loving. I can't believe how green and beautiful it is there. Their garden is to die for. Can't wait to hear about your next stop.
I am so glad you took the time to stop and see my mom, she loves and misses you so much! she always says it is like getting a transfusion to be able to touch and talk to her kids, grandkids, and great grandkids. She is so sweet. I am always sad to leave her standing at the window when we have to leave.
.....and that marble game! It has seen 3 generations of kids already. It is so fascinating - Chet made one for my house, too.
